2nd Bothwell Cub Scouts

Section Update

This is some of the cubs enjoying the recent walk in Chatlelheraut park

To date our section have enjoyed evenings of fire lighting and cooking over camp fires, archery, knot tying, fireworks displays, Halloween party and a whole host of games and other activities.

The Cubs section is now full but we are currently taking names for our waiting list.

Parent Child Camp

This week at the Cubs we will be announcing details on a parent child camp in March (19th- 21st).

Those parents who are interested in attending will have to complete a disclosure form. These will be available from the leaders - please ask for one.

Parent Rota

Following on from the Beaver program, we will be implementing a parents rota following the christmas/new year break. This will give you an opportunity to see first hand what happens on a cub night. Given we have 20 boys on our books this will entail your attendance at at most 2 cub nights over the course of a year.

The name of the Cub whose parent is due to help out has been included in the weekly meetings meeting program on the website to give advance notice.

Should you have any difficulty in attending on your designated week I am sure a swap can be arranged with another parent.
